Catherine Zeta-Jones is a Welsh actor known for films including The Mask of Zorro, Traffic and Chicago. She won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for Chicago and later won a Tony Award for her performance in the Broadway musical A Little Night Music. [2][3]
Career and work
Zeta-Jones first gained broad recognition in Britain through the television series The Darling Buds of May. She later established herself internationally with films including The Mask of Zorro, Entrapment and Traffic. [5][4]
She won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for playing Velma Kelly in Chicago. Zeta-Jones also returned to musical theatre on Broadway, starring as Desirée Armfeldt in Stephen Sondheim’s A Little Night Music and winning the 2010 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical. [3][2]
