Campbell is the Baszucki Research Fellow in Metabolic Psychiatry at the University of Edinburgh and a Research Fellow within its Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences. [2][1]
His work has included a pilot clinical study of a ketogenic diet in people with bipolar disorder and research into metabolic and circadian processes in the condition. He is also involved in projects including HELIOS, which investigates light hypersensitivity and lithium's mechanism in bipolar disorder, and AMBIENT-BD, which examines sleep and circadian patterns. [2][1]
