Lil Nas X, born Montero Lamar Hill, is an American rapper and singer who became internationally known with “Old Town Road,” which spent a record 19 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. He later released the album Montero and has won two Grammy Awards, both for “Old Town Road.” [2][3]

Lil Nas X broke through internationally with “Old Town Road” in 2019. The song spent a record 19 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and won Grammy Awards for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Music Video. [3][2]
He followed with the EP 7 and later the album Montero, which included “Montero (Call Me by Your Name)” and “Industry Baby.” Montero received an Album of the Year nomination at the 2022 Grammy Awards. [3]
