Career and work
At the University of Wisconsin, Favor Hamilton won nine individual NCAA championships, including four consecutive outdoor 1,500-metre titles, and earned 14 All-America honors. She also won 23 Big Ten titles and was named the conference’s Female Athlete of the Decade. [6]
She represented the United States at three Olympic Games—in 1992, 1996, and 2000. In 2000, she ran a personal best of 3:57.40 for 1,500 metres. [7]
